About the job.

This role requires excellent communication skills, as you’ll collaborate with various people, such as construction workers, architects and engineers. In order to succeed, it’s important to know how to implement quality, health, and safety standards onsite.

Supervise the following construction activities;

  • Internal road,
  • Sewer line,
  • Stormwater,
  • Reticulation,
  • Electrical,
  • Small service buildings,
  • Landscaping,
  • Any other tasks assigned by management.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for your team’s safety and others affected by your work’s scope on a day-to-day basis!!!
  • Provide full-time HANDS ON-site supervision,
  • Effectively allocate labour, equipment, materials and artisans to maximize productivity, and safety and to minimize deficiencies.
  • Effectively understand project schedules to ensure deadlines are met on time.
  • Communicate scope of work requirements to artisans, review production, and quality and ensure implementation.
  • Calculate, monitor and track all materials required for each project ensuring no overruns.
  • Correspond with the project manager team regarding all adjustments as required, ensuring any materials are ordered in advance to meet deadlines.
  • Conduct daily toolbox talks for your team.
  • Resolve day-to-day field personnel issues.
  • Other Assignments as required.
