Draughtsman

We are looking for a Draughtsman to join our dynamic team. S/he will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans that are used in the construction and engineering processes. This role involves translating design concepts into precise and accurate drawings, collaborating with architects, engineers, and construction teams, and ensuring all plans comply with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed 2D and 3D technical CAD drawings, plans and schematics based on specifications provided by architects, engineers, and project managers.
  • Make necessary revisions to drawings based on feedback from project, development teams and regulatory authorities.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure precision in all drawings.
  • Communicate effectively with project teams to clarify design specifications and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Assist in the preparation of documentation for project approvals and permits.
  • Address and resolve any technical issues related to drawings during construction.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks).
  • Strong understanding of construction and engineering principles.
  • Excellent technical drawing skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to interpret and translate design concepts into technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
